SPOKANE, Wash. — West Valley Outdoor Learning Center is asking people to look for a lost Great Horned Owl that went missing on Oct. 14.
According to a Facebook post by the center, the education owl went missing around Pasadena Park Elementary near Argonne and Upriver Drive.
West Valley Outdoor Learning Center said the bird is fully flighted but imprinted on humans. He has leather anklets (jesses) on, which could cause him to get injured.
Because the owl relies on caretakers for food, he must be found as soon as possible.
West Valley Outdoor Learning Center asks those who might see a great Horned Owl with leather bands and jesses to message the learning center privately.
