MOSCOW, Idaho – The City of Moscow Police Department and Avista Utilities report that a vehicle hit a power pole causing a power outage around the east side of Moscow.
The accident occurred on the 800 Block of White Avenue and police are saying to avoid the area.
Avista crews will be working to repair the transformer as soon as possible but initial estimates do not expect power to be restored until Saturday morning.
