GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – A 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover crash on SR-17, just 12 miles north of Soap Lake.
The car was traveling southbound when the teen failed to control the car’s speed around a curve, resulting in a loss of control.
The vehicle then flipped and rolled into the northbound lane before coming to a stop.
Authorities say there were no drugs or alcohol involved in the crash, but the teen was not wearing a seat belt.
