Spokane police seek help to identify robbery suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is seeking help identifying a robbery suspect who robbed a business in the Lincoln Heights area.

On April 19, around 9:35 p.m., SPD responded to a robbery report in the 3000 block of East 29 Avenue.

SPD police contacted store employees and were told that a man entered the store and demanded money. The suspect had his hand in his pocket, holding something black, implying it was a gun.

Spokane police said the employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect left the business. Spokane patrol officers came to the area but could not locate the male.

Police say the suspect man is described as white and in his mid-40s. He had what appeared to be a pepper-colored goatee, black or dark blue beanie, gray button-up shirt, dark unzipped jacket and dark shoes.

SPD said there is probable cause to arrest the man for First Degree Robbery. Police say if you recognize the man, please call Crime Check at 509 456-2233. Reference case number 2024-20073940
