SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for stealing and unlawfully possessing guns on Sunday.

Alan Kintner, a 68-year-old who reportedly spent months living in a camper trailer on a Spokane woman’s property, was arrested on March 10 after the woman said that he broke into her home and left her rifle and revolver on the front porch.

Kintner, who according to law enforcement was being allowed to stay on the woman’s property with the understanding that he would not enter her home, allegedly used a window to enter her home on Feb. 21 and place her guns at the front of the house.

The woman said that he was acting erratically and screaming before driving away.

After calling the police, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office found that Kintner was not allowed to handle a weapon due to a previous felony conviction.

On Sunday Kintner returned to the woman’s property, and purportedly entered her home. He was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies.

Kintner is currently in Spokane County Jail and faces five charges related to the alleged conduct.
