CHATTAROY, Wash. – The second victim of Saturday morning’s house fire has died, according to Spokane County Fire District Four (SCFD 4).
SCFD 4 said the woman died in the hospital yesterday night due to her injuries from the April 28 house fire.
The man died when fire crews arrived on the scene. The woman was transported to the hospital via air ambulance according to SCFD 4. The two-story house at 28310 North River Estates Drive sustained extensive damage.
SCFD 4 said the victims were elderly.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
