Road work to look out for this week around Spokane!

SPOKANE, Wash. — To help with your commute into or out of the Spokane area, here are a few construction projects that may cause traffic delays!

Maple Street Bridge has caused major delays for some drivers. This week all northbound lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., with one southbound lane open all day.

Since its closure, the City of Spokane has updated the public on any ongoing changes that have occurred. To keep up to date on the Maple Street Bridge progress, check the City of Spokane Facebook page!

Now, here are a few other construction projects around the area:

Havana Street from Central to Dalke Avenues will be closed. This will be along the intersection of Myrtle Street and Rowan Avenue.Westbow Road from Spotted Road to Cheatham Road will be closed for work being done on water pipelines.The closure of Havana Street between Fredrick and Euclid Avenues will be extended to Nov. 7.and Sharp Avenue from Belt Street to Cannon Street will be closed due to a Halloween block party on Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

If you are heading to Spokane, be on alert for these road closures and construction in different areas. Be patient for possible traffic delays this week!
