Spokane, WASH. — Police arrested a driver for one count of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault in last week’s crash near W. Airport Drive and S. Spotted Rd. that left one person dead.
The crash happened on May 8th around 7:30 a.m. and multiple people were transported to local hospitals.
The man who died was identified as 21-year-old Dewayne Aiseia.
Today, police announced they arrested Salom Batlok, 22, at his home following his release from the hospital.
He’s expected to be in court on Friday.
SPD previously said it appears alcohol may have been a contributing factor to the crash.
