OTHELLO, Wash. – A special bond between and little girl and her uncle was on display for the community during his senior night basketball game at Othello High School.
Four-year-old Harper Alvarez is her uncle Ashton’s number one fan. On the special game night, Harper was asked to sing the National Anthem with Ashton by her side. The gym was packed.
“She was super excited … said she wasn’t nervous,” her mom Kylee said. “She asked to sing it again right when she was done.”
The gym was full of applause as Harper did an incredible job, but no one was more proud than her uncle Ashton.
