COEUR D’ALENE, Id– People who want to use Killarney Lake, Mica Bay Boater Park or Huckleberry Campground will have to pay a day-use fee of $5.
The Bureau of Land Management is implementing the new fee to improve visitor experience.
The new fees were approved in 2024 to help cover higher operational costs and maintenance costs.
Visitors with an America The Beautiful Pass or the Coeur d’Alene Field Office Annual Day-pass are exempt from the new fee but must till complete an on-site envelope.
