Tuesday storms more isolated, warming trend kicks in ⛈️☀️

While a few showers and weak thunderstorms will pop up again on Tuesday afternoon, we are slowly moving towards drier and warmer conditions in the days ahead.

Plan Your Tuesday

Showers and isolated thunderstorms develop between noon and 8 PM Tuesday, mainly in northeastern Washington and the northern Idaho Panhandle. These storms will be fairly weak with the occasional gust of wind or brief appearance of pea-size hail.

Southern counties will avoid the stormy weather for another day and see slightly warmer temperatures. Afternoon highs will range from the mid-60s to the lower 70s.

What We’re Tracking

A few isolated storms will try to get going again on Wednesday in North Idaho, but elsewhere, tomorrow will begin a dry and warm stretch of weather. High pressure builds Wednesday through Saturday, pushing afternoon highs into the 70s. We’ll start the Memorial Day weekend dry, warm, and breezy. There are still a few different directions the weekend weather could go, but at this point, it’s more likely than not that Memorial Day will be cooler and have a higher chance for rain than the start of the weekend.
