A warming trend will bring us nice weather and warm temperatures for the start of the holiday weekend.
Plan Your Thursday
Today brings dry conditions and highs ranging from the upper 60s to near 80 degrees. Highs around Spokane and Coeur d’Alene will hit the low to mid-70s. Expect plenty of sunshine and light winds across the region through Thursday Night.
What We’re Tracking
The warming trend continues through Friday into the weekend with widespread upper 70s and low 80s by Saturday afternoon. Conditions remain dry with a small chance of afternoon showers along the International Border. Afternoon winds will be a little gusty through the weekend in Eastern Washington. Be extremely careful with campfires. Fire danger is already rising in Central Washington.
A pattern flip is coming for Monday. Memorial Day begins with cloudy skies and eventually progresses to a chance for rain later in the day. Temperatures will fall significantly heading into next week as shower chances continue beyond the holiday.
