FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. — Members of the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) near Fairchild Air Force Base will be participating in an all-day fitness challenge and toy drive on Saturday!
On Dec. 9 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. outside of the Target on the South Hill, they will be there collecting donations for Toys for Tots.
For every toy donation they receive from shoppers, they will be doing difficult exercises like deadlifts, pull-ups and kettlebell exercises.
JPRA personnel host this toy drive every year! Last year they were able to collect over 1,700 toys for children in exchange for eight hours of exercise in 2-degree weather.
All of the toys collected are distributed in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Toys-For-Tots program to children around the Inland Northwest for the holiday season.
