Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Les Schwab Tires host winter driving classes!

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Les Schwab Tires will be hosting multiple winter driving classes to help drivers stay safe on the roads this season.

There will be five classes throughout the month of November. Each class will be an hour and a half and will cover turning on icy roads, driving in the snow, how to avoid crashes, how to stay safe if you’re involved in a crash and what to do if you become stranded.

If you are interested in attending, there are multiple classes to sign up for:

  • Monday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.

These will all be held at the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and are free to join! Class sizes are limited to 50 people, if your want to attend make sure to sign up soon.

Also, as an incentive for drivers, all attendees will receive a 10% the purchase of snow tires from Les Schwab.
