Detectives searching for suspect after bank robbery on Spokane’s South Hill

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County detectives are trying to identify a suspect involved in a bank robbery earlier this month.

On Oct. 13 around 4:45 p.m., the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to a reported robbery at First Interstate Bank on 57th Avenue. SCSO said an adult male wearing a hat and face covering walked up to the teller and handed her a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left the bank.

SCSO described the suspect as a white male who could be Hispanic. He is 25 to 45 years old with shoulder-length dark hair. He was wearing a gray or light green stocking cap with dark clothing, a black face/head covering and black gloves. SCSO said he e was last seen riding a dark-colored bicycle.

Detectives also ask businesses and residents in the area to check their security system recordings on Oct. 13, before and after the robbery, for additional videos of the suspect or activity in their stores that may aid in this investigation.
