SPOKANE, Wash. – Bloomsday has received 31,825 registrants for this year’s race as of April 29, compared to 28,074 at the same point last year.
The boost in registrations is part of a larger trend in increased Bloomsday registrations since 2022.
Registration for Bloomsday is still open and costs $35. The price will increase to $50 on May 2.
The Spokane Police Department says that it has prepared for larger numbers of spectators and participants this year, though department protocols will remain similar to previous Bloomsdays.
