CHEWELAH, Wash. — 49 Degrees North Ski & Snowboard Resort has announced that they are experiencing a power outage Friday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m. resorts posted on their Facebook page that they “are currently experiencing a power outage. Avista crews are in the field working to track down and fix the issue.”

But with their most recent update, Avista crews have not been able to locate any issues with the overhead power lines and believe the problem may be in the underground system.

Right now, 49 Degrees North does not know any details about the issue or how long the repair may take.

According to the ticket office at 49 Degrees North, they will be closing for the remainder of the day due to the ongoing power issues.

If you have questions regarding tickets, rentals, rescheduling or any pass related items please email sales@ski49n.com. Right now the phone lines at 49 Degrees North are down due to the power outage, so they are unable to assist you.

For any updates, 49 Degrees North will release any new information on their Facebook page.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available. Check back for updates.
