3 charged with attempted murder after stabbing near Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho — Three have been indicted for attempted first degree murder for a stabbing that happened near Lewiston back in July.

On July 14, Lewiston Police Department responded to a call for an injured person in North Lewiston.

As officers arrived on scene they found a victim unconscious with multiple stab wounds. Through investigation they were able to find three suspects who were alleged to be involved.

This week, a Nez Perce County Grand Jury indicted 42-year-old Timothy Allen, 57-year-old Robert LaPlante and 58-year-old Kelly Wilson. All three have been taken into custody and are waiting for an additional court date.

Allen was charged with attempted first degree murder being held at a $1 million bond, LaPlante is charged with attempted first degree being held at a $1 million and Wilson is charged with being an accessory to attempted first degree murder being held at $1 million.
