3 in custody for attempted murder of man stabbed in Lewiston parking lot

LEWISTON, Idaho – Three people were indicted and are in custody in relation to a stabbing in a Lewiston parking lot in July.

According to the Nez Perce County Prosecutor, an unconscious man was found on July 14 in a Lewiston parking lot with multiple stab wounds to his head and upper body. An investigation spanning multiple months indicated three suspects allegedly involved in the attack.

Given the evidence presented Oct. 4, a grand jury handed down indictments for three people: 42-year-old Timothy Allen, 57-year-old Robert LaPlante, and 58-year-old Kelly Wilson.

Allen and LaPlante have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, while Wilson is charged with accessory to attempted first-degree murder. Each suspect’s bond was set at $1 million and are awaiting court dates.
