ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a ten-vehicle collision around 2:12 p.m. on Oct. 1.
According to ISP, a semi-truck pulling a commercial trailer failed to stop in time for slowed traffic approaching a construction zone while heading westbound.
A woman driving a Kia and a man driving a 2022 Freightliner semi were transported to the nearest hospital for their injuries.
Traffic is currently blocked for emergency responders. Traffic will likely continue for about four and a half hours, per ISP.
Officials are currently investigating the crash.
