Singer songwriter Eric Carmen has died at 74. The news coming from his personal website his wife Amy said, “It is with tremendous sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Eric Carmen.”
The singer first rose to fame with the group Raspberries and later ventured off on his own musical journey.
“It brought him great joy to know, that for decades, his music touched so many and will be his lasting legacy, ” Amy wrote.
Carmen had many successful hits like “All By Myself” and “Almost Paradise.”
Amy concluded the news of his death with a memorable quote suggesting to one of his hits by saying “Love Is All That Matters…Faithful and Forever.”
