
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Zephyr snapped a three-match winless streak Sunday with a 2-1 victory over league-leading Sporting Club Jacksonville at Spokane One Stadium.
Tori Waldeck opened the scoring in the 12th minute with her fourth goal of the season. Sporting Club Jacksonville answered in the 36th on a goal by Sophia Boman.
Emma Jaskaniec put Spokane ahead for good in the 69th minute, scoring her third goal of the season.
With four matches remaining, the Zephyr are tied for fifth place and sit three points out of a playoff spot.
Spokane next hosts Fort Lauderdale United FC on Sunday, April 24, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. at Spokane One Stadium.
