The Seattle Mariners top the Texas Ranger 5-2 at T-Mobile to win the series

Seattle, Wash. — After dropping the series opener Friday night, the Seattle Mariners bounced back with wins Saturday and Sunday to take the three-game set from the Texas Rangers.

Randy Arozarena hit his second home run of the season in the fifth inning, a two-run shot that helped fuel the rally to a 5 to 2 win. Brian Woo earned his first win of the year after allowing two earned runs on four hits over seven innings.

Seattle is now 10-13 and sits 1 1/2 games out of first place.

The Mariners stay home to open a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics on Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.
