SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the woman who died in the North Argonne Road and East Bigelow Gulch Road car crash on Friday.

The woman’s name is Amanda Fuller, and she was 28 years old when she died.

The medical examiner said in an email she died of blunt force injuries due to the accident.

The accident occurred on April 12 at 4:55 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash on North Argonne Road in the 7700 block.

Deputies say initial information gained from witness statements and evidence collected at the scene indicates a pickup truck, driven by an adult male, was traveling northbound on North Argonne Road, just north of East Bigelow Gulch Road, while a compact car, driven by an adult female, traveled southbound on North Argonne Road.

As the vehicles approached each other’s location, the female driver (Fuller) crossed the double yellow center line in a curve and struck the pickup head-on in the northbound lane.

Deputies say the female driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male driver was transported to a local hospital with severe but believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
