Washington State quarterback Cam Ward announces he’s entering the 2024 NFL Draft

PULLMAN, Wash. — On Monday, Washington State’s quarterback, Cam Ward, announced that he will be entering the 2024 NFL draft.

On X, Cam Ward shared a video stating that he will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft after he announced he was entering the transfer portal on Dec. 1.

Ward has been the Cougs starter under center for the past two seasons, throwing for 6,963 yards and 48 touchdowns throughout his two seasons in Pullman.

With him leaving WSU, it’s possible that the team will turn to redshirt freshman John Mateer.
