SPOKANE, Wash. — Planning on running Spokane’s 48th annual Bloomsday? Well, registration has officially opened on Jan. 1 for runners to sign up and train for the race!
Registration for the 7.46-mile race opens at 9 a.m. on Jan. 1! The entry fee for the in-person race is $28 per person but prices will increase after April 21.
If you are wanting to register for the virtual Bloomsday race, it will be $28 plus shipping.
The Bloomsday Run is an iconic annual road race that takes place the first Sunday in May. This year, the race is set to take place on May 5!
Since 1977, this race has become “a beloved tradition fostering health, fitness, and community spirit. The challenging course winds through scenic streets, showcasing landmarks and providing a unique experience for runners of all levels.”
At this time, registration for Bloomsday is only available online, but you can register in-person for the race on the weekend of Bloomsday, but it will be $50 per person.
Last year, more than 33,000 people signed up to participate in this iconic race through the streets of Spokane.
