SPOKANE, Wash. — David Cato, a dangerous and armed refugee, was spotted in Newport, Washinton, Saturday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post by the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, he was spotted on March 9. The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF), Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, and the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office are trying to locate Cato, who is wanted for multiple charges, including Assault in the First Degree and Burglary in the First Degree.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to Cato’s arrest.
