Verdict reached in the trial of Daniel Howard, former ISP trooper accused of killing wife

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho. — The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Daniel Howard, the former ISP trooper accused of killing his wife.

Howard is accused of killing Kendy Howard on Feb. 2, 2021. He was charged with the murder in April of 2023.

While out on bond, Howard was arrested at the Spokane International Airport where he claims he was returning a rental car with a friend.
