SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are asking for the public’s help in searching for an armed robbery suspect.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), around 3:53 p.m. on March 18, an employee at First Interstate Bank reported the bank had been robbed.

Witnesses told Spokane Valley Deputies that a man entered the bank wearing a hat, sunglasses, a mask, a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, gloves and tennis shoes. Witnesses said the man approached the counter, pulled a black semiautomatic pistol from his waistband area, and demanded cash.

SCSO said the suspect left the bank and is believed to have walked to the parking lot just west of the building. SCSO believes he may have fled the area in a gray or silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee or similar vehicle.

The man is described as a white male, approximately 50-60 years of age, 6’00”, with a medium build, about 160-180 pounds.

Anyone with information about this armed robbery or who can identify the male suspect in these photos is urged to contact Major Crimes Detective N. Bohanek at 509-477-3223, reference #10037722.
