SPOKANE, Wash.- A crash at the intersection of East Sprague and Myrtle has extensively damaged two vehicles.
The Spokane Police Department (SPD) states that an Audi speeding eastbound was responsible for the crash. Police had received reports that the vehicle was driving recklessly prior to the crash.
The Audi collided with a Prius, causing the Audi to roll over. Both drivers were taken to the hospital and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The car’s owner, who was at the crash-site to receive information from law enforcement, says that his son had been driving the car.
He left the area where the crash occurred to see his son at the hospital, who will be cited for reckless driving according to the SPD.
There is no evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident.
