Upcoming career fair for Spokane university students

SPOKANE, Wash. – The FUSE Career Fair, an annual opportunity for university students and employers in the greater Spokane area to connect, will be held on March 5 at the Spokane Convention Center.

The event is currently set to host 158 different organizations involved in a variety of fields, such as business, English, sociology, economics, computer science and engineering. You can view the list of employees at this year’s fair on FUSE’s website.

Students who attend either of the four partnered universities, including Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth University and Washington State University-Spokane can attend the event.

More than 700 students attend the event on average, according to FUSE’s website.

Students can also have free headshots taken by a professional photographer at the photo setup outside of the career fair entrance.

Parking is available for the first 200 students at the Davenport Grand Hotel parking garage across the street from the Spokane Convention Center at 333 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. Additional paid parking is available in lots near the Spokane Convention Center.

Each of the participating universities are also providing shuttles to transport students to the fair. More information on these shuttles can be found on FUSE’s website.

FUSE encourages students who plan to attend are encouraged to come prepared with printed copies of their resumes, professional attire, and a plan.

The fair will begin at 2 p.m. on March 5 and will run until 6 p.m.
