SPOKANE, Wash. — Put your cooking skills to the test in the upcoming “Will It Waffle?” cooking competition at the Indian Traill Library and the Liberty Park Library.
In teams of two, contestants will create a dish from a selection of ingredients to make their chosen dish with a twist – they will only be able to cook their creation in a waffle iron.According to the Spokane Library, the event will have two rounds. The first round lets competitors get creative and try to create a delicious dish. In the second round, participants will taste and judge their competition’s creations.This event is for kids in Middle School and High School. The competition will be held on March 26 at 4 p.m. at the Indian Trail Library and another on Mach 27 at 4 p.m. at the Liberty Park Library.If this challenge sparks your interest, register for one competition at either library to attend.
