Trustee calls into West Bonner County board meeting, prevents fourth cancelation

PRIEST RIVER, Idaho – Days after West Bonner County School District superintendent Brandon Durst announced his intent to resign, the district held another meeting.

The purpose of tonight’s meeting was to deal with pressing issues not discussed after last week’s meeting was canceled, including holding nominations to replace the board’s two vacant seats.

After a Tweet from Superintendent Branden Durst, it was unknown if Trustee Troy Reinbold would be in attendance. Last week, Reinbold was absent from the district’s board meeting, which caused their third cancellation.

While not physically in attendance on Wednesday, Reinhold called in, helping the board reach quorum and preventing a fourth straight meeting cancelation.

In Wednesday’s meeting, no action was taken on Brandon Durst’s intent to resign. The board took nominations for board chair, vice chair and treasurer.
