INLAND NORTHWEST – Gas prices in the state of Idaho and Washington continue to fall according to AAA.

The average gallon of gas in Idaho this week is sitting at $2.95 a gallon. Bonner and Kootenai county is more expensive, averaging $3.20 a gallon. Boundary county is the lowest with an average of $3.06 a gallon.

Across the state line, the state of Washington is averaging $3.96 a gallon. The most expensive gallon in the evergreen state is found in Adams county at $3.95. The cheapest is in Spokane county at $3.55 a gallon.

Experts say the combination of rising supply and falling demand helped drop prices at the pump this week.

As of this week, according to the energy information administration gasoline demand dropped to less than 8.3 million barrels per day. Also, gasoline stocks increased by three million barrels
