BOISE, Idaho – Thomas Eugene Creech has been on death row for over 40 years, and his day of execution has finally come.

Despite the efforts of Creech’s attorneys, his stay of execution has been denied by the Supreme Court, meaning his 9:00 a.m. execution will still take place.

Justice Kagan denied this motion just two hours before the scheduled execution time.

Creech is one of the longest-serving death row inmates in the country and has been convicted in multiple murder cases.

He will have family and religious representation present during his execution.
