COLVILLE, Wash. – The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who broke into a home southwest of Colville Friday night.
30-year-old Braxton Balsz is wanted by the sheriff’s office for 1st degree burglary and theft of a firearm.
Balsz broke into a home on Lindsey Road, southwest of Colville, on Dec. 22. After stealing a firearm from the home, he fled into the woods causing a several hour search.
The firearm that was stolen was recovered by law enforcement but Balsz escaped from capture. He is believed to be with a family member.
