SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman accused of identity theft made her first court appearance on Thursday.

Jessica Anderson was arrested by Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies after reportedly failing to appear at her initial hearing.

In court on Thursday, Anderson’s defense attorney cited health issues and a knee surgery as the reasons that she did not make her initial court date.

Anderson is currently in Spokane County Jail on a $500 bond. A diversionary hearing is scheduled in her case for April 8.
