SPOKANE, Wash. – The downtown Spokane south suspension bridge has been under construction since May of 2023 and the grand new opening is on Friday.
The bridge originally was built for Expo ’74 years ago and now has a special reopening just before the 50th anniversary of Expo this summer.
The City of Spokane will be hosting a ribbon cutting of the bridge as part of the Expo celebration. More details on that will be revealed in May.
