SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is asking the public to help locate a suspect who allegedly assaulted a police officer.
25-year-old Delane Mcleod is wanted on a multitude of criminal charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer.
Mcleod struck an officer with his car and fled from the scene. The officer was in his vehicle at the time of the crash.
After the incident, the officer was transported to the hospital for a full evaluation. The extent of the officer’s injuries is unknown, but they are not life-threatening.
SPD has found Mcleod’s vehicle that he was driving at the time of the incident.
