SPOKANE, Wash. — Mayor-elect Lisa Brown has announced the names of those who will be a part of her transition team before she takes office on Jan. 1.
“I promised a better way, and a better way starts here,” Brown said. “We’re bringing diverse people together, listening to what’s important to them, and working together.”
For residents to learn about the transition work being done and to share ideas with committee members, Brown has launched a website, BetterWaySpokane.com.
Brown and her committee members will focus have a goal to prioritize challenges and opportunities related to each committee topic.
