Spokane police arrest two women wanted for murder charges

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police have arrested two women wanted on murder-related charges from other jurisdictions as part of ongoing fugitive operations.

The Special Investigations Unit arrested 38-year-old Shantel Flores on May 4 near Wellesley and Belt on Spokane’s north side. Flores was wanted on homicide charges from Okanogan County and was transported there after her arrest.

During the last week of April, the unit also arrested 25-year-old Kassey Trump, who was wanted on negligent homicide charges from Montana.

Both arrests occurred without incident. The arrests follow the unit’s recent success in locating Daniel Bray, a man wanted for murder charges out of Federal Way.
