Wednesday warm up with an isolated storm chance 🌡️⛈️

Temperatures are heating up again, and a disturbance in our weather will attempt to spawn a couple of thunderstorms in the region this evening.

Plan Your Wednesday

It will be a mild start and a warm finish. Expect temperatures 5 to 9 degrees warmer than Tuesday. This will push Spokane and Coeur d’Alene to the upper 70s and low 80s for the late afternoon.

A quick-moving weather disturbance will promote thunderstorm development in the mountains of North Idaho and Northeast Washington. Storms are possible in the late afternoon and early evening from Colville east to Sandpoint and Libby and from Bonners Ferry in the north along the Montana state line down to the Silver Valley.

Elsewhere, thunderstorm development is unlikely, but it will be breezier in the evening as this weather feature passes over us.

What We’re Tracking

Another disturbance is set to arrive on Friday, leading to cloudier skies, gusty winds, and a minuscule shower chance. Conditions clear for the weekend as highs remain in the 70s through Mother’s Day and into at least the middle of next week.
