SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Parks and Recreation will host a public workshop on Wednesday to discuss potential improvements to the Palisades North Trailhead.

Those interested in attending should be at the Finch Arboretum Woodland Center at 5 pm. Comments can also be submitted via email.

The department will share designs for a new trailhead and offer the possibility of building a trailhead for horses.

“Feedback will focus on priority improvements including safety and accessibility, parking, protecting sensitive landscapes, and preserving history,” the city said.

Affected areas will be near the entrances to Rimrock State Park and Riverside Trail.
