IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Idaho Falls Police have arrested a Spokane man on charges of first-degree murder.

According to the Idaho Falls Police Department (IFPD), 42-year-old Chris Foiles was arrested after someone contacted officers about a motorhome parked on Wardell. The motorhome looked similar to a vehicle currently being sought by law enforcement in Bozeman, Montana.

Wardell Street was blocked off from around 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for necessary steps in the investigation.

According to IFPD, Foiles is currently booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

Investigators are searching for information regarding Foiles’s activities between Dec. 15, 2023, and Jan. 12, 2024. Anyone who has seen Foiles or the motor home over the past four weeks is asked to report the information to the IFPD.

The motorhome is a 1973 tan motorhome with apparent damage to the rear driver’s official side and a red strip down the side. At some point in the last four weeks, the stripe was painted blue.

Anyone with information is asked to email Detective Reed at Creed@idahofalls.gov or call the non-dispatch emergency line at (208)529-1200. Reference case number 20204-1289.
