SPOKANE, Wash. — As the calendar turns from summer to fall, the leaves won’t be the only things changing in Spokane.

Beginning Oct. 2, all Spokane County parks will be moving into “off-season” mode, reducing some of the services available and closing entrances to some parks.

Bathrooms at all parks will be closed, trash cans will be removed and water will be turned off.

Additionally, Gates at Pine River, Fish Lake and Bear Lake will close, as well as the gate to upper Camp Caro parking lot.
