Spokane Cocktail week returns with over 50 participating locations

SPOKANE — Spokane County’s annual cocktail week has reached new heights this year, with more than 50 different locations participating in what organizers call the biggest celebration yet.

The yearly event is organized by Counter Culture Spokane, a group dedicated to supporting the hospitality industry throughout the area. This year’s festivities showcase more than 200 craft cocktails at locations across the county.

Each participating business has created a curated menu of cocktails specifically for the week, with every location required to include at least one non-alcoholic beverage option.

“It is a great platform for businesses like us to showcase our identity, our creativity, the team behind all of it,” said Karissa Schulke, owner of Uno Mas. “It gets us the exposure that sometimes we might not get in a city like Spokane competing with Seattle, Portland, all of them.”

Uno Mas is among the participating locations hosting special events during cocktail week, including a patio party scheduled for Friday night.

Visitors can enhance their experience by picking up a passport at participating locations to collect stamps as they visit different venues throughout the week.
