SPOKANE, Wash.- The Spokane City Council will gather for an annual retreat on Feb. 23 to discuss administrative issues.
The event, at which City Council President Betsy Wilkerson and Mayor Lisa Brown will both offer remarks, will take place at the Spokane Pavilion.
It will be open to the public, though the retreat will not include public testimony.
Agenda items include discussions of emergency ordinances, the structure of executive and standing committees, and public communications.
No legislation will be advanced during the event, which will be limited to dialogue between lawmakers and city staff.
