SPOKANE, Wash. — No one was injured after a house caught fire in north Spokane Wednesday evening.
According to Spokane County Fire District 9 (SCFD9), a call came in around 6:50 on Feb. 21, saying a fire was coming from their dryer. When fire crews arrived, smoke was coming from the home.
Firefighters quickly accessed the fire and quickly extinguished the flames. There’s some smoke and heat damage to the house, but no one was injured.
Fire crews will remain on the scene to mop up. This remains under investigation.
