LIND, Wash. – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office launched an all-day investigation ending in three arrests, the recovery of a stolen car and an incident involving a crossbow shooting.

Deputies were called to the Lind area on Feb. 22, to reports of a stolen vehicle which sparked the full day investigation.

Later the same evening, deputies received reports of a shooting incident near the 300 block of West 2nd Street. The caller said that David Scott Douglas, 54, had shot a crossbow at them.

When deputies arrived, they discovered evidence of arrows that matched the reports from the caller, as well as a matching description of the stolen vehicle.

Probable cause was established to arrest Ashley Lovonne Hendrickson, 36, on suspicion of stealing the vehicle.

The investigation into the assault continued as deputies arrived at Douglas’ property. Upon arriving Sabrina Marie Myers, 46, denied that Douglas was on the premises and claimed sole occupancy of the property.

Further investigation led to the surrender of Douglas on that property, where he and Myers were arrested.

Myers was booked into jail on making false and misleading statements to law enforcement. Douglas was booked into jail on first-degree assault for the crossbow incident.
