SPOKANE, Wash. – Professional Bull Riding (PBR) is coming to the Spokane Arena this Saturday, and one pro is looking to come away with a win in his hometown!

Colton Schneiderman is a local making a trip back home to Spokane to live out his dream of winning a buckle. But before dreaming of winning buckles, he dreamed of winning a Stanley Cup.

“I played hockey growing up here and to be able to come out in the buck and shoots here it’s unreal,” said Schneiderman.

Schneiderman started his journey at the Eagle Ice Arena, which led him to the Spokane Chiefs. After all the training and his time behind the bench with the Chiefs, he found his true calling.

Schneiderman said, “When I quit playing hockey it kind of left a hole in me—I didn’t want to just go to work and come home.”

And that’s when he left the sticks behind to strap on boots and jump on a bull—taking his chances on a perfect eight seconds. An eight seconds that he said is one tall order especially at the pro level. This isn’t Schneiderman’s first time riding in Spokane. He placed last year but says that’s not the plan for this Saturday.

“Tomorrow I want to go out and leave it all out on the floor for Spokane this is my home and I want to show the fans in town and the country what I can do.”
